You are also welcome to visit any of our branch offices to become a customer. To become a customer, you need to prove your identity.
If you have a Swedish social security number, you must identify yourself with a valid Swedish identity document.
If you lack a Swedish social security number, you must identify yourself with a valid foreign national passport in the original showing your citizenship.
If you are from Ukraine and covered by the EU Temporary Protection Directive, you need to bring:
- Your residence permit card from Migrationsverket (The Swedish Migration Agency).
- A register extract from Skatteverket (The Swedish Tax Agency) showing coordination number and address.
- Your passport or national ID card.
Search for your nearest branch by entering your town or city in the search field below "Offices of Swedbank and Savings banks". If you do not speak Swedish or English - bring an interpreter.
For countries that are part of the Schengen Agreement, an equivalent to the Swedish national ID card indicating your nationality is also valid. When you present a foreign ID, your identity needs to be corroborated with an additional document, such as residence permit, statement of employment, a certificate from the Tax Authority or school certificate.
